Our Story
In 2015, we knew something had to change. Caleb had been working on local building sites and had realised customers were paying premium prices for poorly made shutters that were often being imported from overseas. As supporters of local businesses and products, we knew there had be to be better alternatives, and we were determined to find them. Before we knew it, Riverina Plantation Shutters was born.
We started our business by focusing on providing high quality, custom-made plantation shutters but our range quickly grew to include blinds, awnings and curtains. Today, we focus on providing high quality window furnishings with premium finishes. We pride ourselves on sourcing our products from local suppliers that are Australian-made and fully comply with Australian government regulations and standards.
As our business has evolved, so has the way we showcase our products to customers. We have developed our own mobile showroom of samples as we believe in giving customers a personalised experience. That includes letting customers touch and feel our products. To find out how our shutters, blinds, awnings or curtains would look like in their home and how they make them feel. It’s important to us that our customers are happy and confident with their choices by seeing each window furnishing first-hand rather than just a picture in a display book. We like to see our customers smile and see the happiness in their faces. It’s why we opened Riverina Plantation Shutters.
